When to quote Attribute and Domain names ?

Postby Mliker MAC » Jun 22nd, '10, 05:41

Sometime Attribute and Domain names appears with quotes and sometime without quotes. Can you suggest me the specific reason for putting attribute and domain names in quotes.

Attribute and domain names may appear without quotes if they contain only letters, numbers, underscores (_), or dollar symbols ($) and do not start with a number. You must quote all other attribute and domain names with the backtick (`).

I am trying to execute query : -

select count(*) from domain

It returns only 100 items however meta-data of domain shows me 300 items in domain.

The response time is five second and Amazon SimpleDB return that it could count in 5 seconds with next token. So you can see next button visible over table.
