size limit of a domain

Postby James Rubin » Jun 23rd, '10, 06:45

Hi,
is there any option or possibility to increase the size of domain.I find option to add new domain, but there is no option to increase the size of existing domain?
As i come to know that the size limit for any domain is 10GB, I have been uploading my database to one of my domain, which contains more than 10GB data.
Can you suggest me some solution?

Regards-

James

Hi,

No, you can not increase the size of any domain from more than 10GB, but you can increase the number of domains in your account as Amazon SimpleDB service does not allow the size more than 10 GB for a domain. There is some limitations with Amazon SimpleDb for more specification go through following link :

Hello,

In amazon simple db account you can create maximum of 100 domains, but if you want to increase the number of domain, then you can make request to amazon simple db for this.

Thanks
